Wes has lived on Vancouver Island for over 35 years and also spent 7 years at Douglas Lake Ranch in the southern interior of BC.  It was at DLR  that Wes’ passion for fly tying  evolved. His background is predominantly stillwater and his tying style reflects that. But having recently come back to the island Wes has been tying more patterns for local streams and rivers. Wes is currently a pro team member with Textreme Hi Tech Fly Tying, Gulff Resins, and Canadian Llama.
