The classic Darkhorse wading boot has been remastered, upgraded, and improved for optimal traction and support. Made for the serious angler who won’t accept compromise. Like all Korkers wading boots you have the convenience of the OmniTrax® Interchangeable Sole System so you can adapt your traction requirements to any fishing environment.

Here you get both the Kling-on hard sole and the Cross Current felt sole. The Kling-on sole is a high-friction tri-zonal sticky rubber that excels in and out of water and reduces water absorption keeping them lightweight and reducing the spread of invasive species. We recommend these for hiking into your spot and switching out to the felt soles when you get to your destination. The Cross Current felt sole is a compressed high quality felt designed for use in a variety of wading conditions. Performs well in wet and slippery conditions and moderately well on extremely slimy rocks, wood, etc., but we do not recommend it for hiking long distances.

The fit system of the Devil's Canyon is the patented Boa® M2. You can dial in your fit based around the conditions you are in and the comfort that you expect. No more struggling with laces that have backed away from the lace guides or that have broken. Just turn the dial and off you go.

The Darkhorse also comes with internal drainage channels so water quickly exits out the midsole ports, lessening the weight and removing the excess water which means your boots dry quicker and lessen the chance of spreading invasive species. The uppers are also crafted with a hydrophobic material that doesn’t absorb water and provides excellent resistance to side abrasion. And the durability doesn’t just end there. It goes a lot further into the design with a molded thermoplastic polyurethane toe cap, additional toe cap protection and protected stitching for prolonged thread life.
Stronger and more wear resistant than ever before and we also have to mention the three-ply fit system Achilles stabilization for superlative fit and function. Nine inches high and 3 pounds, four ounces per pair with the felt soles.
